For years, my husband and I have been cooking healthy dinners on a budget.  We started dating in college, and after college he went to law school.  Needless to say, we have always been living without a lot of money, but with a very strong desire for cooking!

Recently, the Food Network launched a show called “Ten Dollar Dinners.”  My husband and I have talked about a show like this for years, and so we decided to compile our recipes that we have made and post them in a blog for others to enjoy.  All of our recipes meet the following criteria:

1.  They serve two people.  However, all dinners can be adjusted to cook for more!

2.  We have cooked and created all of the recipes ourselves.  If we post a recipe that we did not just make from food in our own fridge, we will give credit to the original chef.

3.  We assume you have “the basics.”  I will always make a list of things you’ll need to buy and things that you most likely already have if you cook.

We do not pretend to be professional chefs by any stretch of the imagination.  Our meals are simply designed to by healthy, quick, and most importantly, budget friendly.  We hope that if you enjoy one of our recipes that you will leave a comment about it.  We also would hope that if you change or alter any recipe in a creative way, that you will share your ideas!  We always love to put a new twist on old favorites!!!
